longing and expectation begins my favorite liturgical season, and thus the new year.
From today's sermon, the form left a lot to be desired, I managed to enucleate an interesting thought: Advent is waiting and longing in the triple sense: first
that Christ is born for every human
second that Christ was born again in our hearts
third and that Christ came again.
first Although Christianity takes over 2000 years, still there are people, bah! even whole nations, peoples, countries where he does not know anything about Jesus, where he says he is not, or where it is unusual impeded, destroyed in the bud.
how deeply the Church desires during Advent to remember about this urgent need. How much should we embrace our prayer this intention. There also would be foolish to think and not just spiritual but also material support of the Church's mission.
Meanwhile, we probably do not fully believe in the real Christmas, namely the coming of the Messiah, that God is interested in us, that really has an impact on our lives.

second Advent is also the time of our preparation for Christmas. We need this time to live in a particular way. Do not make this, however, neither neatly laid table, or "atmosphere", let alone presents. This is all important, but we should prepare our hearts - whether it be again only paltry nursery, where Jesus is born again humbly? He is so good and merciful, that does not despise, but we can try and make our hearts "bit" more beautiful - and to Advent calls us.
How many of us - who are in the Church, will proceed to Holy Communion at Christmas, especially the midnight mass? Statistics say that less than half! Horrifying! So many people at Mass, but without communion - Jesus is born, but Again, not for them, but next door, at hand. Even the nursery is not found.
third Church misses, and invokes the expected second coming of Christ.
Yes, even if we can agree that the newly born in our hearts, to come to those who have not yet arrived, it is most difficult for us to assume this has to come last, final, irrevocable. Why? Because the Second Coming makes us more of an ecological disaster and nuclear holocaust, than the final victory Justice, Love and Truth. But perhaps because we are afraid that victory will be on the side of the vanquished?
But since God became man and is in addition defenseless child, I want to tell us - "Man, do not be afraid of me. Open your heart, and I will reign in him. I want to guide you through the valley so that you not afraid of evil. "
